Event identity + print + marketing + brochure
A key event in Coutts London Jewellery Week, Phage was commissioned to create a distinctive brand for this prestigious selling exhibition at the Tower of London.
Sympathetic to the historical character of the Tower while at the same time reflecting the contemporary jewellery on show, the design was applied to a full complement of promotional materials. Each printed piece or advertisement illustrated a different part of the Tower with a jewel emblem ‘hidden' within it like secret treasure, providing brand recognition and consistency throughout while creating a sense of excitement, intrigue, and discovery.
Way-finding from the Tower entrance to the exhibition space itself was restricted, and needed to be sensitive to the identity of the Tower while standing out in its own right; effectively directing people to, and promoting the event. The colour palette of rich, dark brown combined with metallic lilac was carefully chosen to complement the background colours of the venue and reference its royal status, while standing out as different, fresher, and more contemporary, than the Tower's own way-finding.
Our careful selection of unusual paper stocks and metallic inks provided a luxurious finishing touch to the printed material that reflected the high calibre of the exhibitors and design work on show.
