Coffee-table Book

Phage worked with design-led property developers Studioloop on a coffee-table book to launch their latest luxury home to market. A Grade II listed Georgian townhouse in the heart of London, the property combines beautifully restored original features with modern design and home comforts, a juxtaposition of traditional and contemporary that was a key differentiator for potential buyers, and important to capture in the design of the marketing materials.

We took one of the most striking features—a beautifully restored fanlight—and developed it into a visual motif for the book; foil-blocking it on the front cover, debossing it on the title page, and referencing it in the photography throughout, helping to develop a narrative for the property, and creating a running thread throughout the book.

The colour palette of delicate dove greys and golds, and the use of textured stocks and cover materials, were carefully sourced to reference colours and finishes used throughout property, while the typographic and image style reflect a luxury lifestyle image, appealing to the high net worth target audience.
