For Fedrigoni's annual desktop calendar we were keen to come up with an idea that gave the traditional printed calendar a new lease of life and relevance in the age of digital calendars and smartphones.
The result inspires Fedrigoni clients with ‘Ideas for the Year’ in the form of Quick Response (QR) codes, scanned using a free smartphone app and linking through to an exclusive online portal. Like an advent calendar for the whole year, each week has its own card, with ideas ranging from architectural walks and sculpture parks to exclusive downloads and design events, and special contributions from paper artist Tracey Bush and illustrators Clive Lawrence and Aeriform.
Using a different embossed paper each month, and a different colour to differentiate each season, the printed calendar promotes Fedrigoni’s luxury papers effectively to a design-aware audience, providing a means of engaging with them, maintaining interest, and staying front of mind throughout the entire year.
