Phage is a London-based communication design studio that specialises in design for creative-sector and design-conscious businesses. We have been successfully providing innovative and creative branding, print, and web design services to UK businesses and organisations since 2002.
Our philosophy is simple; to deliver beautiful, intelligent design solutions that address real commercial needs and that are workable and appropriate for our clients' target audiences, histories, and budgets.

We work with our clients in a direct and transparent fashion, an approach that has led to us forming long-term relationships with many of them. Our integrity and passion mean that you'll never have to compromise on creativity or quality, receiving innovative, intelligent, and inspiring design that delivers a powerful lasting impression.
02__Understanding your needs
We think about our work... hard, systematically unpicking a brief to get to the real needs of our clients and drawing on our expertise to offer recommendations on how best to achieve their goals. Our client-led approach is an important part of that process, it keeps our design work fresh and our minds focused on what our clients really need.
03__Flexibility
We're not a huge agency. It means that we are able to give our clients the full attention they deserve and can adapt to work around you instead of the other way around. It also means that you will always work with senior creative talent, benefitting from over 22 years combined commercial experience; When you commission Phage you'll deal directly with the designers doing the work resulting in a productive and efficient working relationship.
04__Project management
We've been doing this for some time now and along the way have built up a robust and effective team of print and production partners. Add to that some excellent in-house project management skills and we're able to keep things running smoothly throughout the course of your project, ensuring that deadlines are met and that the end product looks as fantastic as you dreamed it would.
05__How much?
Effective design comes from having a design team that understands when to use restraint and when to apply the bells and whistles. At Phage we've worked with people at all stages of their business development and understand the needs and challenges they face. From local emerging talent to market-leading global operations, we have consistently provided our clients with real value for money and lasting, measurable results, drawing on our expertise to offer recommendations on how best to achieve their goals.
06__Environmental and accessibility practices
At Phage we always recommend solutions to our clients that don't cost the earth, with more than 95% of jobs since 2007 being printed on FSC regulated or fully recycled stocks, and a team of sub-contractors and suppliers who share our high environmental principles. We also care about people being able to read our work (it's pretty important we think!) and always follow RNIB clear print guidelines when appropriate. Oh, and we also recycle, walk to work, and have a wheelchair accessible studio.
